Pietrus, Warriors grind out victory (Contra Costa Times)
In a nose-to-the-grindstone type of game, it was only fitting that the guy with a broken nose would be one of the Warriors’ biggest heroes. With his reputation for letting showmanship trump fundamental play, the Mickael Pietrus of previous seasons probably wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes in the type of tooth-and-nail battle the Warriors and Boston Celtics engaged in at the Oracle Arena on Friday.
